As part of Arts Week organized by the School's BDA, the library is offering a UE Pro lecture on Balkan music led by members of la Fanfare Tar'Taraf.
This lecture will be accompanied by musical extracts played live.
It will focus on the different aksake rhythms (rhythms with odd subdivisions) characteristic of Balkan music, allowing participants to discover part of the musical repertoire of the Balkan peninsula.
