Centrale Lyon Open Science Handbook

When the first open science roadmap was launched in 2020, Centrale Lyon published a practical guide for researchers, which was updated in November 2024.
  • How do I make my article open access?
  • What's the point in doing it?
  • Why and how should I manage my research data?
  • In what cases should I/could I open them?
  • What does Centrale Lyon recommend on all these issues?
  • Who do I contact for support?

To provide answers to these questions (and many more), an internal Centrale Lyon working group was formed with the aim of producing a guide, in French and English, for researchers at Centrale Lyon.

The aim of this guide is to provide practical, first-level answers to questions that researchers may have, and to enable them to identify which useful resources are available to them - pedagogical resources, human resources and infrastructures available - whether at Centrale Lyon or nationally.
