Introducing the Wangari Maathai Library on the Saint-Etienne campus

The ENISE library is integrated into Centrale Lyon's Michel Serres library and belongs to the Saint-Etienne Brise-ES higher education network.
Built in 1995, on April 4, 2019 it took the name of Kenyan Nobel Peace Prize winner Wangari Maathai, a testament to her humanist openness to the world and the school's commitment to ecological transformation.
It currently employs 4 staff and can count on the punctual reinforcement of student monitors.

The library participates in the school's information, training and research missions, as well as in various cultural actions for users.
It provides access to all Centrale Lyon's digital collections, journals, ebooks, theses and digitized student works.
The library also has physical collections on the first floor, divided into 4 sections: engineering sciences and techniques, human and social sciences, languages, literature and leisure. Tabletop work is possible on the first floor and on the dedicated mezzanine level, as well as in two group work rooms.
A reading and rest area and a toy library are also available to visitors.
