On-site collections

The library manages, preserves and makes available to its public, on the 2 campuses, collections of monographs and printed journals, in keeping with the multidisciplinary nature of the establishment and its major orientations.
These collections are designed to support the teaching provided within the school, to support research activities, to contribute to open-mindedness and knowledge of the world, to the development of a solid general culture, and to support the school's SD&RS approach.

75% of our collections are open access.

However, some documents are kept in our reserves. In the catalog, they are indicated as being located in "Magasin".
They can be consulted and borrowed on request from the staff at the lending bank.

The Wangari Maathai library is a member of BRISE-ES (Bibliothèques en réseau informatisé de Saint-Etienne).

This network enables consultation of a catalogue Saint Etienne common to Saint-Etienne's Higher Education libraries.
