The Data Workshop of the University of Lyon, DATALystE, which was certified in January 2025, is the result of a collaborative effort by several institutions on the campus. Like other already certified workshops, its goal is to increase the visibility of support services for research data management among researchers, by offering a website and a single point of contact. It also aims to promote the pooling of efforts and the creation of new joint services.
Centrale Lyon actively participated in the preparatory work for the Ministry of Higher Education and Research's call for interest, as well as the early accomplishments of the Workshop: hosting an instance of the interview transcription software Whisper, practical guides for open-source data processing software, best practice memos, and the creation and sharing of an educational escape game on research data management (Data Curator)...
