Bibliographic database of scientific publications

Scopus, a multidisciplinary bibliographic database, covers all peer-reviewed scientific, technical, medical and social literature. Scopus was created in 2004 by publisher Elsevier, and today includes over 29,000 journal titles and 330,000 books.
Scopus and the Web of Science are the two largest bibliographic databases of scientific literature worldwide. The Web of Science is accessible via Bib CNRS, the CNRS portal for accessing documentary resources (identification via the Janus identity manager).

Access to descriptive records for more than 29,000 journal titles and 330,000 books from over 7,000 publishers, as well as nearly 20 million author profiles.

Acquisition methods:

Subscription as part of the national negotiation led by the Couperin consortium (2024-2027).
