As part of Centrale Lyon's pedagogical support services, the library offers a range of training courses integrated into the curriculum.
This enables students to master informational skills:
- Identifying and defining their information needs
- Searching effectively
- Critically evaluating their results
- Reusing them to generate new results, while respecting copyright and scientific integrity
In recent years, the library has evolved its teaching methods to make its courses more interactive. Sequences have been gamified with the creation of board games (e.g., on the scientific publication process), escape games, and quizzes.
It is also developing self-paced training courses on the School's Moodle platform.
In addition to the integrated training courses, the library offers personalized support for users through appointments.
It can also design training courses at the request of the School's faculty.
