National archive of multidisciplinary scientific publications.

Istex was born of a national impetus as part of the "investments for the future" program of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (Mesri) and funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) to the tune of 60 million euros. This budget has enabled the purchase of over 25 million multidisciplinary scientific documents and the creation of a digital platform accessible to all French higher education and research establishments.
Istex is the largest repository of standardized scientific archives serving French research. Its unique feature is that it is technically and legally compatible with text mining and analysis. Istex Search is the platform that enables searches within this national corpus.
