Painting and Music

Introducing the Lyon Auditorium concert, Damien Capelazzi will present the close and sometimes little-known links between music and painting. Through star examples and musical excerpts, he will demonstrate how music influences artists' creative processes and is inseparable from major pictorial works.

Historian and art critic with a degree from Université Lyon II, Damien Capelazzi founded the Artagora company in the 1990s, which organizes numerous art history events (lectures and workshops, tours, escapades and trips...).
