Statista presents itself as "a global data and business intelligence platform with a vast database comprising statistics, reports and knowledge on over 80,000 topics from 22,500 sources in 170 sectors".

The database is multilingual in English, French, German or Spanish.

There are several ways to search in the database:
- by keyword on a simple search engine; 
- by a conversational tool generated by artificial intelligence that searches for the most relevant results based on a query;
- by a "statistics" tab broken down by business sector (e.commerce, internet, media...);
- by tabs offering thematic reports, market and company data.

Finally, for those who want to perceive current events in infographics, the "Daily Data" tab selects a few telling data that resonate with the major concerns or small idiosyncrasies of the moment. The news items on offer vary according to the language chosen for consulting the database.
