Doctoral workshops in April: library research and open science

From April 8 to 17, the Michel Serres library is offering Centrale Lyon doctoral students 6 one-hour workshops on bibliographic research and open science.
The library is offering 6 one-hour workshops (1pm-2pm) spread over the weeks of April 7 and 14. They will take place face-to-face at skylab.

List of April workshops :

  • Tuesday 8 1pm-2pm : Optimizing your bibliographic research (Google Scholar, Scopus, Click & Read...)
  • Wednesday 9 1pm-2pm : Managing your bibliographic references with Zotero
  • Friday 11 1pm-2pm : AI tools for bibliographic research and the state of the art
Tuesday 15 1pm-2pm: Open science - definition, issues, practices : essentials to know for the PhD
  • Wednesday 16 13h-14h : Publish the results of your research in open access : tips, tools and points to watch out for
  • Thursday 17 1pm-2pm: Efficiently managing your research data and codes to make them reusable + presentation and tour of Centrale Lyon's computing center
You will receive a certificate of attendance, and the hours completed can be accounted for as cross-disciplinary training at your Doctoral Schools under the following conditions.
  • MEGA, InfoMaths: all hours completed will be counted (no minimum volume of hours to be achieved).
  • SIS, EDML, EEA: all 6 hours of training will be counted provided all sessions are attended.
