From June 17 to 25, the Michel Serres library is offering Centrale Lyon doctoral students 7 1-hour workshops on a variety of topics: open science, scientific integrity, data management, bibliographic research...
The library is offering 7 one-hour workshops (1pm-2pm) spread between June 17 and June 25. They will take place in hybrid mode: face-to-face in the library's meeting room or remotely via a Zoom link. All workshops, except the one on Monday June 22 on PPSTN, will be in English.
The hours will be validated by the Doctoral Schools under the following conditions:
- MEGA, InfoMaths : All hours completed will be validated
- EEA, EDML, SIS : A minimum of 6 hours of training must be completed

- Wednesday June 17 1pm-2pm : Introduction to open science: definition, issues, practices (speaker: Nicolas Jardin, research services, Centrale Lyon Library)
- Thursday June 18 1pm-2pm : Publishing in open access : tips and points of vigilance (speakers: Nicolas Jardin and Stéphanie Lamaison, research services, Centrale Lyon Library)
- Friday June 19 1pm-2pm : Efficiently managing your research data to make it reusable + visit to Centrale Lyon's Pôle de calcul (speakers Matteo Camier, technical director - PMCS2I and Nicolas Jardin, research services, Centrale Lyon Library)
- Monday June 22 1pm-2pm: Les enjeux du dispositif de Protection du Potentiel Scientifique et Technique de la Nation (PPSTN) (speaker: Guillaume Emptaz, defense security officer at Centrale Lyon)
- Tuesday June 23 1pm-2pm: Scientific integrity issues: latest updates (speaker : Jean-Pierre Cloarec, scientific integrity referent at Centrale Lyon)
- Wednesday June 24 1pm-2pm : Optimizing your bibliographic research: tools, tips, AI... (speakers: Nicolas Jardin and Stéphanie Lamaison, research services, Centrale Lyon Library)
