Food waste is a major issue in our society. But did you know that each and every one of us can take action at our own level to reduce this scourge?


During this conference; after defining what food waste is we will explore together simple and effective solutions to implement on a daily basis.


We will address the root causes of this phenomenon:
- Key figures on food waste in the world and in France.
- The role of the agri-food industries.
- The environmental and social impacts of waste.
- Practical solutions (meal planning, food preservation, revalorizing leftovers, understanding expiration dates) 
- The contributions of science and technology in the fight against food waste
- Designing an antigaspi party menu.


This conference is aimed at anyone wishing to reduce their environmental impact and adopt a more responsible diet.
 

The speaker:

Lifelong cooking enthusiast Salima Boutemtam, although trained as a notary, quickly turned to entrepreneurship by creating an event catering service in the Lyon region. Backed by her skills in pedagogical engineering, she creates dynamic training content, writes materials and content, and then monitors individualized courses in an organized and precise manner.

A social networker with a strong sense of aesthetics, she stands out for her ability to innovate and challenge market trends.
